Join Sandi and Ally for a special autumnal SPA Yoga® experience and treat yourself to an afternoon of bliss! Autumn is a season of reflection, transition, and awareness of the impermanent nature of the “things” in life, and acceptance of what is. It is a time to shed ourselves of all of that which does not serve us as we prepare for winter’s rest. Just as the trees shed their leaves, so do we shed our outer layers while our roots remain strong and grounded in the foundation of our most authentic selves. It is a time of letting go and of deep surrender.
As the trees gently rustle and sway with the winds of change outside, we will move in a similar manner in our warm and cozy studio! We will begin with gentle breathwork to balance both our yin and yang energies, followed by a full sensory experience to gently open the subtle energy body through a slow, floor-based flow. By engaging all five of the senses with soft candlelight, soothing music, aromatherapy, lots of hands-on assists, and a renewed awareness of taste, SPA aligns us with the inner wisdom of deep relaxation. We will conclude with a guided meditation followed by a sound bath with reiki, as you fully surrender into savasana. You will walk out feeling renewed, transformed and completely blissed out!
A fall-inspired oil blend will be diffusing (slightly spicy, sweet, bright, and very grounding), and a similar tea blend and chocolate (of course!) will be available at the conclusion of class. You don’t want to miss this one!
